Andy Roddick is one of the few players who has come to the defense of Maria Sharapova. Here's what Roddick had to say in a recent interview with espnW: "Knowing Maria for as long as I have, regardless of what you think about what she was taking was morally sound, the fact of the matter is, for the entirety of her career it wasn't illegal. I don't believe that she would have taken it if she realized it had been banned. Obviously, December 31st it was legal, and on January 1st it was illegal. I think she's too smart to risk her legacy. There's a lot of verbiage out there about her getting wild cards and all that. The way I view it, she has certainly served her time. "
