The Spurs are signing Michigan State alum Matt Costello to a 2-way deal, sources tell ESPN.com senior writer Zach Lowe. The 6-foot-9 Costello averaged a Vegas-best 12 rebounds per game (to along with 11.3 points) for the Timberwolves in the Las Vegas Summer League.

The San Antonio Spurs officially announced today they have signed forward/center Joffrey Lauvergne. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not announced.

Former Spurs guard Simmons heading to Magic

Free-agent guard Jonathon Simmons has signed a new contract with the Magic. Terms were not disclosed but sources tell ESPN it will be a three-year deal worth $6.3 million for the first season, $6 million for the second, and $5.7 milllion for the third.

Forbes goes off again for Spurs
