Lillard: Beating Warriors became an 'obsession'

After scoring 34 points in Golden State sweep-clinching win over Portland, Damian Lillard said he's developing an 'obsession' with trying to beat the Warriors in the playoffs.

The Golden State Warriors complete a 4-0 sweep of the Portland Trail Blazers in their first-round series with a 128-103 Game 4 victory in Portland. With Kevin Durant back in the lineup after a two-game absence, the Warriors started with a 22-3 run and never looked back, tying an NBA playoff record with 45 points in the first quarter. Stephen Curry led the rout with 37 points, including seven of Golden State's 17 3-pointers. Durant had 10 points in 20 minutes of action.

Warriors rout Blazers 128-103 to complete sweep. The ViewFromVegas is they also easily covered as 9-point road favorites and it went over the average closing total of 222.5. Favorites went 3-0 ATS tonight and lead 17-14-1 ATS so far in the NBA playoffs after underdogs dominated early; overs went 2-0-1 tonight and 19-13-1 overall.

The Portland Trail Blazers will be swept for the first time since losing 3-0 to the L.A. Lakers in 2002, when the first round was still best-of-five. Portland got Game 4 wins in 2014 vs. San Antonio and 2015 vs. Memphis to avoid sweeps.
