FlyQuest has been awarded a permanent slot in the North American League of Legends Championship Series, as first reported by theScore esports and confirmed by ESPN. The team and its billionaire owner, Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wesley Edens, will have to pay $10 million in franchising fees. FlyQuest joins Cloud9, Counter Logic Gaming, Team SoloMid, Team Liquid and Echo Fox as existing teams returning to the league.
Greek Freak makes Bucks history -- again
Giannis Antetokounmpo's 37 points and 13 rebounds in the Bucks' win over the Celtics on Wednesday is the second-most points by a Bucks player in a season opener. Only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had more, dropping 41 to open the 1972-73 season.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 16 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter, and the Milwaukee Bucks opened their season with a 108-100 victory over Boston on Wednesday night to spoil the Celtics' home opener.

Bucks sign Payton II to two-way contract
The Bucks announced Tuesday that they've signed PG Gary Payton II to a two-way contract. The 24-year-old originally signed with Milwaukee on April 2 and played in six games during the 2016-17 season, averaging 3.3 points, 2.2 assists and 2.0 rebounds.
