Recruiting update: Will Richardson told ESPN that he has narrowed down his final list of schools to Georgia, Gonzaga, and Oregon. He has completed all his official visits and plans on making his decision in the upcoming weeks. Richardson made a huge jump in the latest rankings back in August. He went from no.84 up to no.38. One of the most versatile point guards in the country as he can easily find the open man, play the drive and kick game, knock down deep 3's, and rebound down with his length at 6'4".

Pac-12 forms group to analyze hoops scandal

The Pac-12 is launching a task force to develop reform proposals in the wake of a federal bribery investigation that includes an assistant coach from USC.

Top 100 prospect Will Richardson tells ESPN he is heading out west to make his official visit to Oregon this weekend. He has already visited Georgia and also plans to visit Florida, Gonzaga and Ohio State. In a deep class of point guards Richardson has seen his stock soar due to his scoring and facilitating instincts with size at 6'4".

Oregon lost a ton from last year's Final Four team that produced 33 wins. This roster is much younger, but loaded with shooters, ball-handlers and point forward types. Freshmen class is strong with Troy Brown & company. Paul White the Georgetown transfer could be a real surprise in Eugene.

Oregon lands a commitment from ESPN 100 Louis King. The Ducks now have two top 100 prospects for the class of 2018. King will join Miles Norris. who sits at no.58 in the top 100.

PG Will Richardson tells ESPN that he will make official visits to Georgia Sept 15-17, Oregon Sept 29-Oct 1, and Gonzaga Oct 13-15. Other schools involved Florida, Miami and Ohio State. The ESPN 100 prospect had a fantastic summer period. A left-handed PG at 6'4" who owns a legitimate three point shot and natural playmaking ability.

2018 Keldon Johnson tells ESPN that he has received an offer from Kentucky. He also holds offers from Texas, N.C. State, Oregon, Georgetown, Maryland, Florida State and others. Johnson will visit Texas on September 1-3, and Florida State September 8-10, He was terrific last weekend at the Nike Basketball Academy.

LSU coach: Bigby-Williams to transfer to Tigers

Forward Kavell Bigby-Williams, who helped Oregon advance to the Final Four in a reserve role last season, will transfer to LSU, Tigers coach Will Wade said.

Oregon among winners from a hectic transfer season

Oregon lost a couple players via transfer, but the additions clearly outweigh the defections. Grad transfers Elijah Brown and MiKyle McIntosh should help fill the void left by departed draftees.

Top 100 prospect Eric Ayala informs ESPN that he will be staying in the class of 2018 and will not be reclassifying up to 2017. He also tells Espn that his final list of schools are Arizona, Syracuse , Miami Indiana ,LSU ,Ohio State, Oregon Georgetown and Maryland.
