Jefferson, Jones land NBA opportunities

Duke's undrafted senior duo of Amile Jefferson and Matt Jones will participate in the NBA summer league. Jefferson will play for the Timberwolves and Jones will play for the Rockets.

ESPN Stats and Information

Harry Giles goes No. 20 to the Trail Blazers (reportedly traded to the Kings). Giles is the 6th straight No. 1 player in the ESPN 100 to declare for the NBA Draft after one season in college. The previous 5 were picked within the first 6 selections.

Another Duke Blue Devil off the board. Luke Kennard goes to Detroit at No. 12. Frank Jackson stands and cheers with his parents. Harry Giles and Jackson could join their teammates by night's end.

ESPN Stats and Information

Luke Kennard to the Pistons. He's the first non-freshman to be drafted this year. His 19 20-point games were tied for most in the ACC last year. The last time the Pistons drafted a Duke player in the first round was Grant Hill in 1994.

Frank Jackson stands up to support his former Duke teammate Jayson Tatum, who was drafted by Boston with the No. 3 pick. Both spent just one season at Duke and had nearly identical class schedules in the spring semester (including yoga).

ESPN Stats and Information

Celtics select Jayson Tatum No. 3 overall. This is the 4th straight year that Duke has had a top-3 pick (Jabari Parker, Jahlil Okafor, Brandon Ingram are the other 3). That ties UCLA (1974-77) for the longest streak of Top-3 picks. (Via Elias Sports Bureau).
