IU to host Charleston Southern with FIU tilt off

Indiana will host Charleston Southern on Oct. 7, a game added after the Hoosiers' matchup with Florida International was canceled due to Hurricane Irma.

Indiana announced tonight that its home game scheduled for Saturday against Florida International has been cancelled because of complications related to the effects of Hurricane Irma. IU is working to find an opponent to play in Bloomington on Oct. 7, a previously scheduled open date for the Hoosiers.

Nate Stanley leads Big Ten standouts

The Hawkeyes QB earned his spot with five passing TDs and a comeback win against Iowa State, while Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor dominated on the ground. Michigan DB Tyree Kinnel got the nod on defense, while Indiana wideout J-Shun Harris claimed special-teams honors after his punt-return touchdown.

Indiana wide receiver Nick Westbrook is out for the season with a torn ACL, head coach Tom Allen said Monday. Westbrook hurt his knee on the opening kickoff of the Hoosiers' loss to Ohio State on Thursday. Westbrook caught 54 passes for 995 yards in 2016.
