LBs Jack Cichy and T.J. Edwards were named to the Butkus Award watch list Monday. In 2016, Cichy was a semifinalist for the award, which is given to the nation's top linebacker. Cichy had 60 tackles (7 for loss) last season, while Edwards had 75 tackles (8.5 for loss).
Three Badgers make Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list
Wisconsin LB Jack Cichy, DB D'Cota Dixon and DE Conor Sheehy were named to the Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list on Thursday. The award goes to the nation's top defensive standout. Last season, Cichy and Dixon each recorded 60 total tackles, while Sheehy finished with 27 total tackles and 2.5 sacks.
Wisconsin duo named to Outland Trophy watch list
G Beau Benzschawel and C Michael Deiter were named to the Outland Trophy watch list on Thursday. The award is given to the nation's best interior lineman. Both players started every game for the Badgers last season.
